That fact that he’s a survivor of Stage IV throat cancer isn’t even the most notable thing about Jason. If you’ve ever met him, you know that his fun personality is hilariously unmatched. Throughout is cancer journey, he earned another nickname – “Superman” – and is known by our team and our clients for his dedication to getting the job done.
As co-founder of Ashar Group, Jason spends the bulk of his time developing and leveraging relationships with national insurance carriers and broker-dealers to better serve our mutual clients and end consumers. He serves as a registered representative with Equus Financial for all life settlement transactions involving variable life contracts.
Jason earned his bachelor’s degree from Emory University, holds life insurance licenses nationally, and Series 6 and Series 63 licenses with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In addition to being a member of various industry organizations, he is a board member of both the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance and the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute. He lives in Central Florida with his wife and three children, but also enjoys spending time in the beautiful scenery of Montana.
